Used Cooking Oil Collection in the East Midlands

Across the East Midlands we collect from kitchens in five counties: Derbyshire (Derby and Chesterfield), Nottinghamshire (Nottingham, Mansfield and Worksop), Leicestershire (Leicester and Loughborough), Lincolnshire (Lincoln and Grantham) and Northamptonshire (Northampton and Kettering).

Each part of the region has its own mix of businesses. Leicester's Golden Mile on Belgrave Road is known for Indian restaurants and sweet centres. Nottingham and Loughborough have large universities with busy student food scenes. Lincolnshire is one of England's main food-producing counties, with many food processors as well as market-town cafés and pubs. Derby, Chesterfield and Mansfield mix high-street takeaways with factory and workplace canteens.

We collect waste cooking oil from fish and chip shops, Indian and Chinese takeaways, pubs, hotels, school and hospital kitchens, and food manufacturers. We match how often we collect to how much oil you use. Collection is free, we pay a rebate on 100 litres or more, and every litre is recycled into biodiesel.
